Landscape Designer/project manager

Landscape Designer/Project Manager:  As Landscape Designer, you will have the opportunity to work directly with clients designing and creating beautiful, stylish and contemporary gardens and landscapes.  Using your extensive knowledge of plants and horticulture as well as your ability to visualize and develop creative solutions, you will be working with high profile clients in Boston’s premier neighborhoods. 


  • Work with Landscape Design Manager in the estimating, selling, and designing of residential landscape gardens, roof top gardens, and courtyards
  • Perform field measurements and site analysis
  • Order materials required for projects.
  • Setting up landscape/hardscape projects as needed.
  • Research, source, and order plant and other materials required for projects.
  • Follow up with clients during and after installation.
  • Be able to create garden design sketches for the gardening clients.
  • Be involved in all aspects of installation, including plant layout and installation


  • Attention to detail
  • 5+ years experience performing residential garden and landscape design or horticulture work
  • Strong sense of design, landscape aesthetics and ability to properly place and site plants in garden beds
  • Strong plant identification skills and knowledge of perennial, shrub and tree characteristics.
  • Container planting knowledge and skill
  • Valid MA driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
  • Extraordinary Time management skills, self-direction, flexibility, and ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Estimating and budgeting experience
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work on numerous projects at once, with efficiency and on a deadline.
